An incredible location.

This training will be held at INSPYA Yoga’s home, only a few kilometres from Byron Bay. Our awe-inspiring property hosts a fully equipped yoga studio, which opens out to lush gardens, abundant in seasonal organic fruit and vegetables.

Nestled in 17 acres, we combine both our lifestyle and vocation in a sanctuary of landscaped and organic gardens. The buildings and facilities reflect our love of nature: compost toilets, solar energy, grey water systems and filtered rainwater. The natural flora provides a wonderful habitat for wallabies, echidnas, marsupials, reptiles, frogs and a variety of bird species.

We are conveniently situated only a few kilometres from Byron Bay and even closer to the infamous Broken Head Beaches, Headlands and Nature Reserve.

A variety of teaching styles for you to choose from.

Each teacher has 25 years or more experience practising Yoga and over that time they have practiced and taught many ‘styles’ of Yoga. It is from that depth of experience they are able to provide you with many options to develop your own teaching style.

In this training you will be taught the foundations of Hatha Yoga. Hatha Yoga includes the practice of asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), dhyana (meditation), mudras (yogic seals) and bandhas (muscular and energetic locks).

You will learn how to sequence the asanas (postures) in many different ways, and learn how to increase or decrease the intensity/challenge of a sequence or class using vinyasa (linking movements). This will enable you to design sequences for people of a wide range of ages and abilities. We also teach you how to modify asanas (postures) using props and how to design restorative classes.

Different types of Yoga you could teach after completing this training include: Yoga for Beginners, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Restorative Yoga and more.

A supportive environment to practice your teaching skills to establish a sound and professional foundation as a Yoga instructor.

We dedicate a significant portion of the course to practice teaching. This allows you to prepare for teaching classes and practice your skills so you feel confident teaching your first classes as a qualified Yoga teacher.
